Text-message program.
Catapult may use SMS or MMS for request-related updates, support communications, service notices or marketing only when the applicable consent has been collected. Message frequency varies based on the service and your interaction.
A lender, servicer, application provider or other third party may operate a separate messaging program. Its own consent and text-message terms control those messages.
How consent is obtained.
Text-message consent is collected through a clear disclosure associated with the phone number and the type of messages covered. By opting in, you represent that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the number you provide and that you are legally able to give the consent.
Where required, consent for marketing messages is collected separately and is not used as a factor in a lender’s credit decision. Keep the disclosure shown at the time you consent for your records.
Messages you may receive.
- Confirmation that a request or website action was received when that feature is enabled.
- Requests to complete or correct information in an active request.
- Support, security or service notices.
- Marketing or promotional messages only within the scope of the consent provided.
- Opt-in, opt-out or help confirmations.
How to stop messages or get help.
Reply STOP to a Catapult marketing text to opt out of further marketing messages from that program. Reply HELP for help when those keywords are supported by the messaging service. You may also use the Contact page or call (813) 400-0402 to request assistance.
An opt-out from Catapult messages does not automatically opt you out of a separate lender’s, servicer’s or third party’s messaging program. Follow the instructions in that company’s message or policy.
Message frequency, carrier charges and delivery.
Message frequency varies. Catapult does not charge a separate fee merely for sending a text under this policy, but your mobile carrier’s message, data, roaming or other charges may apply. Delivery is not guaranteed and can be affected by carrier, device, network or number-status issues.
Your mobile number and reassignment.
Provide only a mobile number that you own or are authorized to use. If you stop using a number or it is reassigned, update your contact information or opt out before the number changes hands when possible.
Privacy and message security.
Text messages may appear on a lock screen or be visible to anyone with access to your device. Do not send bank passwords, complete account credentials, or a full Social Security number by ordinary text message.
For broader data-handling information, read the Privacy Policy. For California privacy choices, see the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) page.
Policy changes and contact.
We may update this Text Message Policy when the messaging program or applicable requirements change. The current version is identified by its posted update date.
